A beautiful day, a wonderful cause, Tilford came together in the spirit of peace and collaboration. Together we raised thousands to help save All Saints’ Church and this village in Surrey showed what's possible when differences are set aside in service of humanity.

History

Holy Ground

This historic site was once owned by Waverley Abbey and has since been known locally as the Holy Ground.

1984: Islamabad

The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community purchased the former Sheephatch Camp School to cater for educational and spiritual needs.

Today

2019 saw the completion of the old wooden barracks being replaced with modern houses, offices, a hall and the landmark Mubarak Mosque.

What is Islamabad?

Located in Tilford, Surrey and owned by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, Islamabad is home to Mubarak Mosque, a multipurpose hall and a number of residents, serving the religious and educational needs of the community.

What does Islamabad mean?

Islamabad means Abode of Peace, named when the site was purchased by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community in 1984.

Is Islamabad open to visitors?

We welcome members of the local community and others to visit Islamabad and Mubarak Mosque and if you wish to do so, you can contact us below. For the safety and security of our guests and residents, there is a security presence around the site.
